Tomorrow begins the November 2005 NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) is the official name of a specific book-in-a-month challenge. This is my first year participaiting so I begin tomorrow.
My target market is Silhouette Bombshell. I will be posting more later but here's a short blurb...
You can see for miles out here. The stretch of desert outside of El Paso where it meets the foothills of the Davis Mountains makes for a great lookout. The only problem with this is there’s no place to hide. And no chance of running. You wouldn’t last a day in the blazing desert heat. Nothing could. Except the vultures. That’s why I moved here. To escape the past and become normal again. So far I haven't managed to do either.
Tonight, nothing moves on the desert’s surface. But there's a sky full of stars as far as the eye could see. No moon. And no relief from the heat.
